Old punks just get spikier

I was born in 1962, which means I was ripe for rebellion in 1977 when punk rock exploded. I wasn't very rebellious but I hope I bring some of that punk rock ethos - about asking questions and not doing things the way they always have been - to my work.

I was a publications and web manager for the University of Ulster for 18 years. I have been a freelance writer for Bizarre magazine (NSFW!!) for a year now. Not everyone's taste, I admit, but good discipline for me in writing concisely and for a target audience. I have written web copy for Social Media Circus, among others. I am an occasional contributor of reviews to Louder Than War.

I maintain the fansite SecretPublic.com for my beloved Buzzcocks. I also write occasional PR and product info for the band.
